Bio
After earning her MPPA degree at Baylor, Elizabeth began the PhD program in the fall of 2017. Prior to attending Baylor University, Elizabeth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carthage College where she majored in Great Ideas and Political Science with a minor in Art History. In 2012, Elizabeth was accepted into Teach for America and spent two years teaching second and third graders at a struggling school in Detroit, Michigan. After teaching in Detroit, Elizabeth worked for Texas Hunger Initiative from 2014-2016 helping to increase low-income family’s access to food and medical resources.
Elizabeth's research interests include American Public Policy, Politics in drama, art, and literature, Educational Theory, and the History of Political Thought specifically in regards to Greek and German Philosophy.
