Bio
Joseph entered the Baylor political science department in the fall of 2021. He graduated magna cum laude from Saint Vincent College in 2019 and spent the subsequent two years teaching at a classical high-school in Chandler Arizona. His research focuses on the interaction between the presidency and the bureaucracy, with special attention to the role played by the separation of powers in that relationship. In addition to his primary focus in American Politics, Joseph has secondary interests in American political development, American political thought, public law, judicial politics, and political theory. His work has appeared in The Journal of Political Science and Perspectives on Political Science. Additionally, he has articles forthcoming in Perspectives on Politics and The New Ressourcement.
