Curt Nichols' scholarship focuses on Executive / Presidential Politics, History and Politics, and most recently Commonwealth Caribbean Politics.  He was research fellow with the Kinder Institute of Constitutional Democracy at the University of Missouri 2014-2015, where he co-founded the Shawnee Trail Regional Conference on Constitutionalism and Politics.   He is working on book manuscripts exploring The Politics of Greatness: The Evolution of the Presidential Ranking Game while constructing a constituency level database to conduct the first detailed study of candidate effects in the Eastern Caribbean.
