Dr. Kudelia participated in Winter School of Invisible University for Ukraine

Associate Professor of Political Science Sergiy Kudelia was one of the invited speakers to address participants of 2025 Winter School organized by the Invisible University for Ukraine and sponsored by the Open Society University Network. The School was held at Central European University Budapest campus on January 11 – 18, 2025.

As part of the Winter School, Dr. Kudelia gave a lecture based on his study of 2014 armed conflict in Donbas, participated in the roundtable on field research and met for mentorship sessions with Ukrainian students who pursue their studies in the social science fields.

Invisible University for Ukraine (IUFU) is an award-winning program for Ukrainian undergraduate and graduate students, whose studies have been affected by the war. It was launched in 2022 in response to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. In 2024 it received Brown Democracy Medal for its commitment to developing “democratic resilience” of Ukrainian students.
